The Pulse Smart Pen 'Christmas Present To Self' Decision!

Yesterday, I found myself considering online writing tools (well, mostly the Pulse smart pen!) presents for my freelance writing and affiliate marketing business - at the last minute before Christmas - as usual!

Everyone in my online writing world (all my forums, affiliate marketing forums, editors site and here at this great website building forum) seems to be agonising over whether to get one of these digital pens!

I am soooo tempted - in fact I will probably buy one in the end, just not in time for Christmas! The digital pen writes on special paper which uses dots to track your writing. This can then be organised fast into special files on your computer. It also records meetings, lectures, workshops, speeches and talks and has the facility to refind the exact place in a speech with a single click on a word.

The paper and accessories are apparently easy to replenish on Amazon. I went there to read the reviews and discussion. Some are postively raving about it - others (such as a student with noisy friends in an echoing lecture hall) are not so sure.

What I am most excited about with the digital pen idea though, is the future promise to convert the scribbled notes into text! Now THAT I would love - imagine sitting on the beach scribbling and not having to worry about your priceless phone or laptop! Then, when you get home, you have another article for your online writing done!

In fact the possibilities for an online business writing or marketing with one of the best affiliate marketing programs are endless!

As an online writing teacher, I'm also pleased about the potential for learning-challenged or writing-challenged students, for whom note-taking is an all-consuming chore. At least with a Pulse smart pen they will be able to re-find pieces of the lecture they have forgotten or mislaid.
